Hiwa Wāhine
Ko koe te taonga i hiahiatia e ō tūpuna.
You are the greatest treasure your tūpuna wished for.
You are the moemoeā your tūpuna sent to Hiwa i te rangi.
Hiwa Wāhine walks alongside wāhine as they reclaim their mana motuhake, stand in their rangatiratanga and reunite with their whakapapa.
Ko koe te taonga. He ara ō kaha. You are the treasure. Your strengths are the path.
Hiwa Wāhine exists because some journeys need more than a coaching session. They need someone who will walk alongside you — as a kaiārahi, a guide to tautoko your haerenga.
This is where the heart of Hiwa Collective lives. Every koha given here directly funds a mentorship for a wahine Māori. A space to reclaim her mana motuhake, discover her moemoeā, and move toward it with tautoko, aroha and everything she needs to simply show up.
He kaupapa ko Mana Wahine
Mana Wahine is a fully funded mentorship programme for wahine Māori — wahine who are re-entering society, navigating single parenthood, building a business, or simply needing someone in their corner at a pivotal moment in their lives.
As kaiārahi, Francesca walks alongside each wahine for the full journey — grounded in te ao Māori, drawing on Te Whare Tapa Whā, CliftonStrengths, and the guiding question of Hiwa i te rangi: what are you wishing to Hiwa?
Intakes open each July, aligned with Matariki and the beginning of the Māori new year, when we send our moemoeā up to Hiwa i te Rangi. Each wahine is welcomed by referral.
Programme consists of:
10 coaching sessions with Francesca (founder) as your kaiārahi
1 follow-up session 3 months after your final session
CliftonStrengths full 34 report — fully covered
Kai and transport arranged — so nothing stands in their way
Accessed by referral — get in touch to refer a wahine, or yourself!
Mana Wahine is a funded programme with limited places each intake. Submitting a referral does not guarantee a place. All referrals are reviewed personally and we will be in touch to discuss next steps should your application be successful. Intakes open each July, aligned with Matariki.
